NIKE Community Impact Fund will match individual donations, dollar for dollar, to purchase cones, hoops and scooters at priority elementary schools throughout the district.

PE classes get our kids up and moving during the school day, and the effects continue long after they leave the gym. While elementary students are happy to get their wiggles, many of our students end up waiting in long lines for their turn to use the limited PE equipment available. Instead of enjoying a lively class, our youngest learners stand around waiting.

Across the district, not all schools have the same basic sets of equipment to meet the needs of our students in PE classes. Without these sets, our students are missing out on consistent PE experiences, learning outcomes and overall wellness.

Beaverton Education Foundation, the Nike Community Impact Fund and the Beaverton School District are working together to fill these gaps, and our students need your help. Together, we can revitalize and refresh the equipment at every elementary school so all our students have the same robust PE experience. Specifically, BEF will ensure each of our 34 elementary school PE programs have the hula hoops, scooters and cones they need for all their students.
