Team Taylor hasn't added a story.
As part of the 13th Annual Seneca Waterways Council “21 Stories For Scouts” rappelling event on Friday, May 13th, representatives from Taylor - The Builders, Greater Living Architecture, ESL Federal Credit Union and a sponsored Scout by Pace Electronics accepted the challenge to defy gravity by rappelling 21 Stories down the historic KODAK Tower in downtown Rochester, NY to support the Urban Scouting program.
Taylor representatives: Tony D’Arpino, Project Executive; and Mauro Caia, Senior Project Manager. ESL Federal Credit Union representative: Jeremy Newman, Vice President and Deputy General Counsel. Greater Living Architecture representatives: Jeremy Smith, Senior Designer; and Rick Neubeck, Architectural Project Manager. Pace Electronics/Troop 6125 representative: Breanna Shaver, a Life Scout and Senior Patrol Leader.
The last several years have been incredibly challenging, especially for young people living in hard to serve communities of Rochester. Through your support, we are able to continue delivering Scouting’s mission to over 700 young people – instilling values and building communities through caring leaders and engaging programs.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support our fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate or participate too!
Returning for its 13th year on the only Friday the Thirteenth in 2022, 21 Stories for Scouts offers you the opportunity to overcome your fear of Friday the 13th on Friday, May 13th! It's safe. It's fun. And, did we say it's Thrilling! In fact, it's doubly thrilling as you get an amazing experience and, at the same time, support the life-changing experiences that thousands of youth can have through the Scouting program.
Since it is Friday the 13th, we're not letting any black cats near the building - just your family, friends, and colleagues to cheer you on from the ground below!
How do you do Friday the 13th in Style?
You rappel a skyscraper! It starts with making a commitment to contribute or raise (a minimum of) $1,100 for your rappel experience. A $50 deposit for individual rappellers is required to register and hold your spot. Once registered, you can amaze your family and friends with the daring feat you will take on and ask for their support (any amount big or small) can get your to your fundraising goal.
Proceeds help to underwrite outreach programs for youth in underserved, typically urban, neighborhoods in our community giving those youth opportunities to participate in Scouting's character and leadership development programs...and most of all fun and engaging activities that help them thrive!
