This 2nd annual educational theatre conference will continue to investigate methods for teaching students to become global citizens. This full day conference event is an opportunity to engage young people and educators and inspire them to become voices of change through theatre.  By bringing kindness, respect and dignity to the forefront through theatre, students will become empowered to make a difference in their own schools, communities and the world.

Stage the Change welcomes high school and college theatre students, social awareness clubs, drama clubs, educators, parents, school board members, school administrators, guidance counselors, social workers, theatre professionals and all interested.

The day will include special guest speakers, panelists, theatre and writing workshops for students and professional development for educators.

The conference is held in Brookville, New York, 25 miles east of Manhattan on the beautiful Post campus of Long Island University. The conference is hosted by Tilles Center for the Performing Arts, Long Island’s premiere performing arts center.

To make this important event possible, Stage the Change charges a nominal conference fee- only $25 for adults and $5 for students. These fees only cover a very small portion of our expenses. Won't you consider donating today?
