I have always been there for others when they needed help and now I am the one asking. Our little Dora (Lawndarts Adorable Dora-Miniature Longhaired Dachshund) had to have emergency back surgery, yea $4500 worth.  We need help paying for it.  If 4000 people would give $1.00 each, that would be wonderful and we will be there for you the next time you need help.

Dora, is the love of our lives.  She was born right here in our home April 19, 2009. She is only 5 yrs old now, The runt of the litter about half the size of the other puppies.  She is not show quality but that did not stop her from weaseling her way right into our hearts.  Since she was not a conformation dog Ginger started training her for agility.  Dora took to it, she loved it.  They went to pre agility training classes first and then went on to all the obstacles, jumps (6 inches high), tunnel, teeter tooter, A-frame (Dora went over the same A-Frame the big dogs go over-just not quite as fast),  weave poles, etc.  Dora was great at home and went as fast as she could but when she was taken to other places to practice she would not go fast.  She did it all but at a snail’s pace.  Ginger was afraid in real competition she would be totally distracted so she was never entered in competition but it never changed the way we felt about her.  Ginger has a T-shirt that speaks just about Dora “Beware, my dog cannot hold its licker”.  Dora is still very small, I believe in Europe they are called “Rabbits” for her size in Dachshunds, 7 pounds and under.

We have just reached the end of our finances and this surgery for Dora has really put us over the top. Please, if you can give even$1.00, it will be sincerely appreciated and we WILL be there for you whenever you need help as well.
