Mt Finlayson Madness is a charity event taking place on Mt Finlayson, in Goldstream Park, near Victoria, BC. This year's event is scheduled to take place on Saturday July 12th, 2014. Please check back to the site regularly for updates:

The overall idea is to see how many times anyone who wants to take part can get to the top of Mt. Finlayson within 12 hours, from 8am - 8pm.  Each of our hikers is sponsored and one hundred percent of our profits go to support our chosen charities: The Mustard Seed Street Church and Food Bank, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Victoria.

Every hike counts and every penny helps, so for those of you who are not able to come out and hike, whether limited by geography, schedules, or physical issues, we'd love to have your financial support.  This event does cost money to run every year, and we have to pay for our permit to use the property (Goldstream Park), our liability insurance, snacks and water we provide for the hikers, as well as advertising and the numbered pinnies that each of our hikers wear.  Fortunately our sponsors have provided many things; however, for every penny we have to spend on additional expenses, that's less for the charities we are working so hard to support.

Please consider a donation to this worthwhile cause.  Donations above $250 will be recognized as a participating sponsor and recognition and advertising (if applicable) will be provided on our website.

Feel free to contact Lisa Grace, our director, through Facebook if you have questions, or email  Volunteers and hikers can sign up for the event at
