It was love at first sight - that fleeting moment when your eyes meet and you know your life will never be the same. The first time I met Violet she was only two months old, but I fell hopelessly in love. She was a super sweet girl with floppy ears and big green eyes- I couldn't get enough of her spirit. So, it was no surprise that 5 years later when I was given the chance to welcome her into my family I would jump at the chance!

Violet had already expierenced a lot and even though some were traumatic, she'd always been sweet and kind to both humans and dogs alike. Plagued with severe allergies and many other conditions that were contributed by her breed, food, and environment she was always under the care of a veterinarian. One of the more severe conditions she suffers is a chronic ear infection that requires constant care with the use of daily prescription medication.

Needless to say, I worried about her and always made sure I was being attentive to her condition. One day, I noticed a small lump that resembled a bug bite, but decided to keep an eye on it. Over a short period of time it started to get worse and I felt compelled to take her to the vet; thinking that it would be something easy. You can imagine my heartbreak when it turned out to be much more severe than I had originally thought.

She was diagnosed with a malignant mast cell tumor.
Of all the things that came before this, the allergies and ear infection, I knew that this was more serious. Violet and I have been through so much already and even though this was much worse than anything that had come before, I knew right then and there that I couldn't let her go without a fight. What I am asking of you is not an easy thing to do, but I am fighting for a loving, wonderful spirit that can't fight for herself and hoping you can help her too.

Luckily for Violet, the cancer was caught early enough that she has a chance to make a full recovery, but without it the cancer will eventually spread and be inoperable. With one small donation, you can help give Violet the surgery she desperately needs before the cancer has a chance to spread.

With your help we can raise the $4,000.00 that will cover the cost of the surgery plus post care. Many of you have never met this little gem of mine, but you can ask anyone who has, she's a absolute sweetheart and worth saving. She still has a lot of life to live, balls to chase and people to lick. I'd like to do everything I can to give her a chance at a healthy life, cancer free.

Every dollar counts.

If you are unable to donate please keep her in your thoughts.

Violet and I thank you.
