Archie was a loving husband, father to 2 daughters and grandfather who would do anything within his power for his loved ones. He worked hard to provide for his family and did well for them. He retired from Delta Faucet Co.after 35 years as a supervisor that everyone loved working with/for.  He spent his retirment days watching grandchildren grow with pride in his heart and happy tears in his eyes. He also enjoyed relaxing with his beloved bulldog Bella on his lap. He was a dearly loved man by many people and animals

Sadly in October of 2013 he was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer.  Throughout his cancer journey he maintained a positive attitude and was ready to fight.  His goal was to live long enough so that his youngest grandchild would remember him.  HIs family watched as he got weaker and his breathing became harder.  We all prayed together and spent as much time with him as possible trying not to accept the enivitable.

Valentines day 2014, with his wife by his side,  Archie went home to his maker. He joined his beloved son who comitted suicide, his parents, sister, his beautiful grandaughter that passed away in a car wreck at 18.  His family is now facing the finacial burden of his funeral cost, all of his medical bills.  And though we thought there were benfits available, there are not.  His widow is now facing bankruptcy and having to sell the home and land he worked so hard for becuase she is not able to pay the bills on her salary alone.  She worked through the entirety of his battle on nights at a local factory and then cared for her ailing husband during the day.  While he was doing his chemo and radiation she had to use FMLA which of course cut her pay drasctically.  There is still a couple of thousand left to pay on his services and then there are mountng medical bills. We are asking for any help whatsoever to help his widow help pay for some of these costs,

No one plans for this ugly disease and we are now all dealing with the aftermath while mourning a great man. We are all praying for comfort and asking for any help available.
