The current Land Rover Ambulance & Sister vehicle to the new build!

So what's this all about?

On the 8th March 2014 Graham, Rachel, Sarah & Nathan will be taking part in & hopefully completing the BMF Major, purely for fun but to try and raise a bit of money while we are at it. The BMF Major is a 10-12Km mud run or obstacle race as it maybe called featuring...Mud, and lots of it, as well as plenty of other obstacles to keep us on our toes and get us wet, cold and generally tire us out. More information this can be found at:

So who (or what) are we trying to raise money for? The answer to that question is Cam Rescue.  Cam Rescue are a small voluntary organisation who supply rescue and medical personnel and vehicles to motorsport events throughout the county, and also an organisation in which Nathan and Graham are involved. Cam Rescue currently run two MSA Rescue Ambulances as well as an MSA Response unit, which of course have running & upkeep costs. Currently Cam Rescue run one All Terrain Land Rover ambulance and one Ford Transit Ambulance - but are in the process of building a second Land Rover to add to the fleet - again, a costly exercise.

Cam Rescue receive no outside funding, apart from unit fees to cover insurance, MOT's etc, all of the upkeep and renewal of kit is funded by donations or mainly out of the owners/Crew Chief's pockets! All crew are volunteers and we all do it because we have a giggle and enjoy what we do!

Please feel free to give as much or as little at you like - just fill in the attached sponsorship form.

I'm sure photos/comments will be available after the event...something along the lines of 'why did I ever think this would be a good idea?!?!?'

I've set the target on this page to £200, however we will be hugely grateful for whatever money we raise! The main thing we still need to buy is a set of five BF Goodrich Mud Terrain tyres - these are around £130 each so every donation counts!

Thank you in advance for your kind sponsorship.
