Hello everyone,

My name is Alexandria Holloway and I am a second year veterinary student at Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine. Every since I was eight years old I dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, and I am blessed to say that I am FINALLY here! I am writing to you all to ask for your support to study abroad in Grenada, Nicaragua this summer. The total cost of this program is $2,500.

The World Vets International Veterinary Medicine (IVM) Program held in Granada, Nicaragua, is a surgical and veterinary training program for veterinary, pre-veterinary and technician students who wish to gain clinical as well as practical veterinary experience. In addition to surgical instruction (provided to veterinary students). Students will participate in a multi-disciplinary veterinary program and cultural experience that not only provides educational benefits, but also gives students a broader understanding of international veterinary medicine.

This program will allow me to combine my passion for animals and cultural prospective. Please show your support by a donation to assist me in my career preparation. No amount is too small. This experience corresponds to my Introduction to Surgical Techniques course that I am currently taking, will better prepare me for the terminal surgeries I will complete third year (next semester WOW time flies), and for my future career as a veterinarian.  Thank you for your support and donations!

Sincerely,

Miss Alexandria Holloway
