This March, a group of 14 students from Circle K at the University of Michigan will be traveling to Buffalo, NY to help Westside Ministries tackle the problem of urban poverty. Please help us fundraise to get there!

WSM ASB is an Alternative Spring Break team at the University of Michigan. Alternative Spring Breaks are week long immersion programs that provide a space for students to engage in meaningful service work to thoughtfully address serious social issues.

Our ASB team will be headed to Buffalo, New York during the first week of March to volunteer with Westside Ministries. Westside Ministries is a nonprofit organization that seeks to stabilize Buffalo’s under-resourced west side through community and economic development. Our primary work will involve housing rehabilitation, youth development, and urban poverty relief.

Our team has to fundraise about $800 to cover costs of transportation, food, and housing for our service trip. We have done some fundraising already, but we still need to raise more in order to get to Buffalo! Any contribution you can make to our fundraising goal will be greatly appreciated.
