Grove Shafter Dog Park is located on Martin Luther King Jr. Way at 36th Street. The dog park is located amidst the 580 freeway and highway 24. Members of the community are working together to add trees to the dog park. The trees would grow to beautify the area, muffle noise from the surrounding freeways, and enhance the enjoyment of the area for the dogs.
