Savannah's fiance recently lost his job. His attempts to find work have been in vain. They currently have no income and the state of FL. is not helping them in any way. They have no food. The goal of this is to keep them fed until FL. can get around ...
Many of you know that my Niece is in the middle of a battle with FL. state. They have no income at the moment, she has a little boy and a baby on the way. Fiance lost his job and spends every day looking for a new one, asking to mow lawns so they can afford a meal. The county is giving a run around like you wouldn't believe and they are now saying it will be "pending" for up to 45 more days. I've had it out with them, Savannah is going to the paper tomorrow, and if I were closer I'd be pounding on doors making something happen. They have NO food! Nobody will help them. They said they would give emergency funds on the 3rd but that's days away and it's also not a guarantee since they have promised this to her before only for her to find out in the checkout line that there was in fact no money available.
They are desperate. They need help. If you're in FL. and can get food to them that is the first and foremost request. Others that can donate money of any amount, I will send it directly to her bank account so she can go buy food.
This is just to get them through until the idiots in charge can do their jobs.
There is NO excuse for anyone in this country to go hungry and I'm seething with anger over this situation. I can name off countless scum that are milking the system right now, living off "benefits" that they don't need or deserve while Savannah and her family are doing everything they can and still get nothing by way of help. It makes me sick.
So please if you can, even if it's a dollar, help them out. Share this with others. If you're in FL especially, get this out there. I want to shame the county for this because it's absolutely despicable.
Thank you all in advance.
