Jamie, 26, has fought complications of Pseudotumor cerebri for almost 4 years and has resulted in her progressive loss of sight & disabling conditions requiring brain surgery. Mom of 2 sons, Colin 6 and Tucker 3 who has Cystic Fibrosis. This young mom does not have insurance and has gone through 7 surgeries to correct the condition and now faces brain surgery to place 2 shunts to relieve the pressure in her brain which is resulting in pressure lesions that are causing loss of sight, speech, higher reasoning and memory. Currently trying to get approved for insurance, but in desperate need of a blood transfusion and spinal tap to restore strength, relieve pressure and constant pain which result in random blindness and other complications, one of which involves internal bleeding which requires a blood transfusion to restore strength, energy and endurance to get through until the insurance and surgery are available. All doctor visits, tests and medications are currently being paid in cash by Jamie's husband and family and all their resources are gone. The immediate goal is $3000 for the transfusion and spinal tap to get Jamie back on her feet and able to care for her 2 children. Please help us get enough money to help Jamie have the surgery without waiting another year or more for the insurance to finally come through that goal is $350,000.
