You may think that independence is granted to everyone, and something as simple as going out to get your mail should have zero difficulties, but that’s not the case, the  reality is very different:

In a nutshell, the Sunu band looks like a smartwatch but it can warn you whenever there are objects and people up to 16 feet away. The range is customizable so it can be used for indoors or outdoor spaces. It works like the warning when you park your car, the closer you get to something, the more it will vibrate. It protects their upper body from tree branches, signs, and things not detected by their white cane.

The Sunu band is not a prototype, it's a proven product that helps blind communities across the globe in more than 30 countries.

How you can help

With your help, this Christmas we can give visually impaired people the gift of freedom to pursue their dreams. Our goal is to sponsor at least 50 Sunu bands to people in need so they can have a strong headstart for 2021.

Additionally you will also be contributing to improving the product at later stages and hopefully bring down the cost even further to make it affordable to a larger portion of the population worldwide.

If we exceed our goal of raising $14,950, for every $2 dollars, Sunu will add $1 more.

How we will donate

We already have a waiting list of people who need this device and it keeps growing! Sunu will sponsor the first 10 units and for every $299 raised, we will give someone a brand new Sunu band for Christmas.
