Abbotsford Traditional Middle School hasn't added a story.
The students of Abbotsford Traditional Middle School (ATMS) are participating in a Read-a-thon fundraiser from January 14 - 24, 2019. Students will be reading for a minimum of 60 minutes per day in and out of school and are asking you to please support their efforts by donating to the cause.
All money raised will be going to support improvements to our school library learning commons. Our first goal is to raise $4000 to purchase new tables for the space that are more flexible for our learning needs. This means that they can be moved around easily and can fit together in different ways depending what students need in the moment. If we are able to raise more than that amount (with your help!) some of the other purchases on the wish-list include books, technology such as Little Bits or Makey-Makey kits, and makerspace carts filled with supplies that allow our students to create, invent, and design.
School libraries play such a valuable role in education! Literacy is the foundation of our children's education and libraries engage students in learning. Please, help support the education of ATMS students by supporting their school library and their Read-a-thon efforts!

Remember to link the donation to "your" student's name so they can be credited with the donation by putting their full name and grade in the "Leave a Message" section on the "contribute' page.
