The August 24th 6.0 earthquake seriously damaged the Napa First United Methodist Church. Plaster from both walls and ceiling fell, but the most serious damage is the separation of the eastern wall. Damage currently estimated in excess of $1 million. More ...

As a result of August 24th's 6.0 earthquake, our main building has been red tagged (pictures). The structural damage to the historical Napa First United Methodist Church is currently estimated to be in excess of  $1 million.  We thought we might lose the building, but after drone inspection and review of the original blueprints, we are more optimistic that it can be saved.

We believe that from somewhere between six months to a year from now, our church Sanctuary will not only be back to its original beauty but will be  seismically retrofitted so that it could withstand another earthquake without severe damage.

Your donations would help rebuild this historic and important downtown Napa church, allowing our community to continue to worship and serve our community.  If you are able to give to the Napa First UMC Earthquake Relief Fund, we would be most grateful.

And please take the time to pray for all who are hurt or who have lost much in Napa, remember them and help those in need. That we help our brothers and sisters, assisting them in their time of need is a sign that we are following Jesus' example and living as true Christians.

Please 'Share' this with your friends and family and help us get the word out.

THANK YOU!
