Rayna Morton hasn't added a story.
Rayna Morton is an inspired Jaya Yoga Trained RYT 200 Yoga Instructor. She is raising money to attend the CESYoga Training Program at the OHSU School of Nursing in Portland Oregon to continue and specialize her yoga teaching education to help cancer patients. She has traveled to India to study advanced yoga teacher training and is halfway to her RYT 500 registration. She is a founding member of a devoloping non-profit yoga outreach program Seva Sangha and is passionate about bringing the healing benefits of yoga to those who need it the most. She lives her life for yoga and teaches a wide variety of classes from Kids Yoga to Standup Paddleboard Yoga. With a deep love for the outdoors and a passion for life her mission is to help heal her community to warm hearts and bring joy and peace.
Both of Rayna's parents are cancer survivors and she knows first hand how much yoga can help patients through cancer treatments and beyond. With this CESYoga training Rayna would earn certification as a Cancer Exercise Specialist. This would allow her to bring the healing benefits of yoga to her community through Seva Sangha a program offering specialized free yoga to the community of Hood River. It would also allow her to work more in depth with the amazing Athletes4Cancer program she has been volunteering at fundraising events for as an athlete and as a coordinator for the last 3 years. (stay tuned for more fundraising to get Rayna to camp Koru and work directly with cancer survivors)
The Cancer Exercise Specialist Yoga program was developed for yoga teachers seeking to share the mindbody healing benefits of yoga with cancer patients in post-operative practice and quality of life programs. CES Yoga was created by Stephanie Adams, ERYT 500, inspired yogi and teacher trainer for 20 years and Andrea Leonard, CPT, cancer exercise expert and CETI Founder.
The Cancer Exercise Specialist program will help to improve the patient’s ability to cope with the mental and physical stress following cancer diagnosis and treatment. Increased mental focus helps promote the re-discovery of the patient’s sense of well-being, joy and self-confidence.

Help Rayna continue her mission in life to heal. Yoga for a healthy community, and a healthy future.
