What's happening:
-training for 3 months
-need to fundraise 2k
-potentially will fight someone July 22 if I meet the fundraising goals, work hard enough to get better at boxing, and have a match up
-if you do not give me money I will not be punched in the face, and i know you want to see me get punched in the face cause of all my Raptors FB statuses and because you're a jerk! (just kidding).

The money goes towards the Aprons for Gloves Boxing Association - a boxing program to help at-risk women and youth; a super good cause and one I agree with very much. "The program offers free mentorship and training to individuals who may otherwise not have the resources or support to participate in such activities. The sport of boxing teaches discipline, respect, hard work and self-control. "

When I was a kid it was as easy as "MOM! I need $200 to play basketball!" The fact that lots of kids don't have the same opportunity is a bummer - giving them a way to do so is a cause I really support. Everyone should have the chance to find out about themselves through sport and doing so lays the foundation for becoming a better person through the rest of their lives which impacts society in a lot of beneficial ways.
