I'm not really good at writing something like this so please bear with me.

Basically I'm a third-time mom, still on maternity leave and my disability pay runs out tomorrow (Friday April 25th). I'm still unable to return to work although I hope to be back working full-time by the end of May at the latest. However, we've just had a lot of things and bad timing fall our way in the last couple of weeks and are in need of some help.

Due to various post-partum issues and kids being sick, my fiance had to take a few days off work this last month and we're feeling that financial hit. Add to that, at the beginning of the week as my fiance was on his way to work, the brakes to our car went out and we're in the process of trying to get that repaired. We've also just found out we have an oil leak we need to get fixed as well.

I'm in the process of applying for assistance but we don't qualify for emergency help. We're down to the bare essentials as far as groceries go and diapers for my toddler are running low. The baby is currently formula fed and her formula is not WIC approved so it's out of pocket. My fiance has about a 40 minute drive to and from work roundtrip each day and is putting gas in the car often. Our apartment complex is strict about late rental payments and charges very expensive late fees and aren't understanding about those late payments either. I'm not really keen on choosing to pay rent or buy formula/diapers/gas for my fiance to get to work. Once I can get back to work myself, I know we'll be in a much better situation but like I said - it's a case of bad timing and so much going wrong or happening at once so I just have to admit that we need the help right now.

Any and all financial assistance will be used strictly for groceries, gas for the car, rent and paying bills and would be beyond greatly appreciated. I'm anxious and excited to get back to a place financially so that we can pay it forward for all the help we've been able to receive so far. Just know that we appreciate you thinking of us, even if you can't help financially, and we will most definitely pay it forward when we're able!

Thank you.
