Please help us reach our goal! We'll serve filtered water, fresh coffee, snacks, and fresh fruit 24/hrs a day during Revival, Project Earth and Shangri-La! 100% of all contributions are used for supplies for the kitchen! More ...

We provide thousands of delicious meals, fresh coffee, and snacks at Harmony Park during Revival, Project Earth, Shangri-La, Rainbow gatherings and disaster relief. All the food, snacks, coffee, and drinks we serve are all donated from kind hearted souls from the community. People like YOU! :-)

We are renting a large capacity water filtration system from Culligan Water Systems so everyone can have free access to all the good filtered water they can drink during Revival, PE and Shang.

Sweet Om Alabama kitchen has been around for quite a while. The very first time this kitchen was set up was at the annual Rainbow Family gathering in 1995 which was held in New Mexico. The kitchen has morphed and grown over the years and grown in many, many ways.

In 2012 we took the kitchen to Wookiefoot's Project Earth at Harmony Park in MN. This was the first time in our history that our free kitchen has been set up at a commercial event. I should add that we did not serve meals until the event was over (fed cleanup crew) because we did not want to take away potential business from the paying food vendors. (who were also awesome!)

We were overwhelmed at the love and acceptance of our free kitchen and have been invited back. The Sweet Om Alabama kitchen is and always has been 100% free. What we do is show up with the gear, tarps, and direction, and the family contributes the food, the money to buy food, and the help it takes to make it all happen. None of this would be possible without the love and generosity of the family.

100% of any contributions are used solely for the kitchen to purchase food, supplies, and/or gas to get the kitchen where it's going.

If you are curious as to why we are trying to raise $1000 please keep in mind just how much food we actually go through when we are giving it away for free :-)
At Project Earth this year we spent over $800 in the town of Albert Lea buying groceries, tons of fruit, propane to cook with and etc. It adds up quick!

And I know this is a shameless request for money. In reality we don't mind paying for these things out of pocket if we have it to give. This is what we do.

Jennahfly and I make didgeridoo's and wings and any money we make from these sales will also be donated to the cause.
