Pets In Peril is part of PAWS animal rescue of Swartz Creek, Michigan.  They are a group of volunteers that go out to the neighborhoods in Flint and surrounding areas and bring food, straw for bedding, shelter/dog houses, and fleece coats to the many dogs who's owners leave them outside in the elements year round.  Many of these dog owners cant afford proper care, yet refuse to surrender the animals to the rescue so they can get proper vetting and a good home.  Many of these animals are pitbulls, young and old, which as you know have short fur.  With the extremely cold winter we are having Pets in Peril has found dogs freezing, with no shelter, frozen water bowls, no food, etc.  It's cold for humans who have clothes, coats, hats and gloves.  Sadly each day is a battle.

My neighbor is a builder and has graciously offered to build as many dog houses as you will fund to help give these animals a fighting chance in these low temperatures.  Please donate what you can, and share with everyone and everyone.  Thank you in advance for your donation and compassion.
