My fiance and I have been fighting a very ugly custody battle for his son from a previous relationship.  This has been going on for 2 years now. We dont live off the state nor do we have family to ask for help. The mother lives at home with her parents and has attacked her own mother twice, dwi's, she dropped the child off at our front door step and said she failed as a mother 2 years ago. She has checked herself into mental hospitals due to her seeing things. She has filed false child abuse charges (5 times now)  and all been found no evidence of any abuse. The legal fees keep piling up and we have tried to get help but you can only get help if its domestic abuse. We are not considered low income either so we can't get anyone to help. I dont know what else to do. I have a 34 year man crying every night for his son. I see why dads give up as it seems they have no rights unless you are the mother. This is my last resort before we call it quits. We dont want to stop fighting for Austin but we cant keep paying for all these fees. Why as parents do we have to chose between your kids and money. ITS NOT FAIR. THIS IS NOT WHAT AMERICA IS SUPPOSED TO BE ABOUT. if anyone can helps us or knows a attorney that will waive fees or helps us anyway I can't express my gratitude to you. Please help my family from losing my step son. As a soon to be wife and step mother this is the hardest thing I have been through.  To feel helpless and making a decision to stop fighting for you son cause you are being bank rolled by her parents cause they have money is not fair.
