Forty cats have been under the care of a kindhearted couple whose home has been foreclosed on. These cats need your help! Two local shelters are accepting twenty of them each, but the surrender fee for each cat is $100.00. This is money that provides medical examination, vaccines, and flea/tick treatment.
The actual cost for accepting these animals will be much more than $4,000.00, but we are attempting to provide at least this much monetary relief to both shelters, as they are very overcrowded, and still receiving animals from communities hard hit by 2012's Super Strom Sandy.
Please help these cats, and the two shelters, Monmouth County SPCA and Tinton Falls Humane Society, who are going to provide their shelter and care. The couple surrendering the cats are devastated and heartbroken, and simply do not have the financial ability to do this for their cats.
And that is why I implore you: help me to help them.
All donations will be evenly distributed between both shelters. Thank you.
