5 Years running

Since venturing into the sport in 2003, I have developed a strong passion for track and field in the area of sprinting. In recent years I have begun to take the sport very seriously, specializing in the 60m and 100m dash. My ultimate goal is to be able to compete at the international level and the next Olympic Games in Rio. As a developing athlete I have been influenced heavily by my father's accomplishments as an elite level athlete himself. He placed high value on hard work and determination; two traits which i have adopted into my own life. In 2011 I was the Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) bronze medalist in the 60m representing the Windsor Lancers; in 2012 I was the silver medalist in the CIS 60m, and I'm 2013 I was national university champion over 60m with a time of 6.73 seconds.
Later that summer,  I was the Canada Summer Games silver medallist in the 100m behind now Canadian record holder Andre Degrasse, and we both went on to win gold in the 4x100m for team Ontario. My 2013 season capped of with a gold medal in the 4x100m for Team Canada in the Francophone games in Nice, France.  Competing and training at the highest level is also accompanied by a significant financial strain. There are always numerous travel expenses incurred throughout the course of the season in addition to physiotherapy, rehabilitation and nutrition. To realize my goals and dreams, I need your help. I currently do not receive any sort of funding for my sport;donations of any amount would be greatly appreciated. With the love and support of my family and friends, I know I can make these goals and dreams a reality.
