Hello Everyone! This summer I will be embarking on the experience of a lifetime, volunteering with an organization called SEALNet (Southeast Asian Service Leadership Network). Through this program, I will be working with children with disabilities to raise awareness to the presence of disabilities in Vietnam for 15 days. Here is a video of what it's all about! http://vimeo.com/10546457#

I will also be volunteering through VVN (Vietnam Volunteer Network) to volunteer with children with disabilities in the local Ho Chi Minh City orphanage through my 3 month period of also studying abroad.

As tough as this may be, I am mentally, physically, and spiritually prepared to give, to do, to love, and to serve out of my own abundance but I NEED YOUR HELP!

I can’t do this without your generosity and love! Please help me offset the expenses of this trip by donating. I have faith that the power of many is always greater when working together! No donation is too small! Every single dollar counts and my promise to you is that I will honor every single one of them!

I can assure you that your generous donation will touch the lives of so many youth! I thank you truly from the bottom of my heart and hope that I can make you proud to be a giver! The total amount I am reaching for is to cover the flight cost and land expenses for the 4 months I am there (August-December)!

I leave you with one of my favorite quotes from Les Brown: “Live life as a giver ~ not a taker. Serve the needs of others by giving of your time, energy, resources, and skills to encourage, enrich, educate, or enlighten their path. Step outside yourself and your own circle of comfort, and actively look for ways to reach out and meet the needs of others. Your own life force and abilities will enlarge when you serve. Service opens your heart, deepens your feelings of compassion and connectedness, increases your ability to love generously, and strengthens your resolve to live from a place of GREATNESS!!”

Those who donate will receive a little souvenir of my appreciation from Vietnam :]
