About Hallie Shoffner
A sixth-generation Arkansas farmer, small business owner, and entrepreneur running for the United States Senate to fight for an Arkansas way of life. Born and raised on the same land her family farmed for more than a century, Hallie understands what it means to work hard and to fight for everything you have.
Earlier this year, when Arkansas faced the largest farm crisis in more than 40 years, she made the painful decision to close her family farm in order to protect the remaining land her family had worked for generations. She experienced firsthand how an economy built to benefit wealthy landowners and large corporations leaves working Arkansans behind.
She is a proud product of Arkansas public schools and earned a full-ride scholarship to Vanderbilt University. Hallie went on to receive her Master of Public Service from the Clinton School of Public Service and was selected as a Presidential Leadership Scholar, joining a bipartisan group of leaders dedicated to solving real-world challenges. She has also built and run small businesses, giving her firsthand experience in meeting payroll, creating jobs, and navigating the challenges faced by entrepreneurs in rural communities.
