Jose Rodriguez is a former Lifestyle employee. He had a serious motorbike accident last year and has no longer been able to be employed. He has had 17 surgeries and is waiting to have the last jaw surgery to remove a plate in his face. It is truly a miracle that he is alive.

While working at the Lifestyle resort, Jose with his wonderful service and friendly personality collected many friends.  

Chad and Erin Walters have volunteered to partner with Dominican Starfish Foundation to help Jose and his wife have a home.  They currently live in very humble conditions in a rental home.  Jose (29) lives with his wife, Marifer (24) and his two sons, Fraylin (8) and Frayniel (2).  His mother Cecilia and father Jose Roberto also live two houses down and will move with the family into the new home.  

Chad and Erin recently visited his home and found the family's fridge and cupboards bare.

Chad and Erin generously donated more food than they have probably ever seen in their home.

Walt Lorgan and Roxane Quaranta have generously donated land in Loma de la Bestia for Jose and his family to have a home. It will have 3 bedrooms. His parents will also live with them in their new home.

Through the generosity of Walt and Roxane and others, Dominican Starfish Foundation has built a whole new community in that area.

Please donate whatever is possible to help Jose and his family have a home. This will bless generations of family.
