Based on a story appearing in the Talmud (Bava Metzia 59b), The Oven of Aknai focuses on a rabbinic debate over the purity of an oven, but when the argument becomes too heated, what starts as a kitchen fire spreads to the whole world. This workshop production is a collaboration between Rabbinic Arts Company founders Rabbi Nicole Fix and Rabbi Bronwen Mullin. Join us for our contemporary take on this ancient tale.
