5 Years running

My name is Kyndyl. I'm 43 years old. I've been diagnosed with PTSD, severe depression, among other things for several years. After several years of trying to ignore things, working full time+, I crashed badly. Landed on disability, and have been working on rebuilding my health and my life since then, approximately 5  years or so now.

Part of that rebuilding is getting out and getting more active in things. Also improving my daily functioning. In order to do that, I've been researching about and getting a service dog. There is one in Massachusetts that provide psychiatric service dogs for non-veterans. I've been blessed with finding this new program with experience in training Psychiatric Service dogs. I have gotten permission from my landlord for the service dog. So the next step is finding the dog and starting their training. That is where this campaign comes in.

Living on SSDI doesn't leave much for covering costs associted with getting a service dog. So I come to you. . I have outlined the costs further down both the low and high level of the costs I've found so far. If the cost of one thing, such as adoption ends up being less than estimated then money will be applied to other things on the list and only on that list.

Please if you can help with anything it is appreciated. If you can't donate, then PLEASE share this. Maybe someone else can, or they can share it and reach someone else.

Current Information: I have a young Rough Coated Collie. She is 5 months old and has completed temperament evaluation and testing. Puppy STAR AKC program. She recently started family obedience in addition to private lessons.

Current upcoming costs:(service dog 1 and 2 are group classes run by the trainer I'm working with. )

Service Dog 1- $128

10 session private training. - $780 (will probably need a few 10 session plans right now I'm trying to budget for 2 in the next 6 months)

Service dog 2-$128

(right now guessing $2-3000 within the next few months)

Equipment: She'll need a harness, and a few other things, the biggest cost I have right now is the training.

Previous updates/information:

I set up the campaign to end November 30, 2015. Here is the timeline I'm hoping to follow

now-July 10, 2015-

-selling whatever I can  to raise funds , cleaning and reorganizing my home and life so I can focus on the raising and training of my puppy.

-July 10-August 31,2015

searching for the dog, begining their training with the program, doing any training with the program that is helpful.

I have 4 weeks from today to raise the inital payment which is $1500. $800 for intial training and $700 for the adoption fee.

I have updated the costs for this part of the fundraiser.

Projected Costs:

This has recently changed. I have found a program for non-veterans with PTSD. They have 3 tier payments. Once when the  puppy starts training. That payment is $1,500. Second Payment when we begin public access training.$2,000. Third when the dog is released to me after completing training.$2,000

Other expenses- transaction fees for fundrazr
