I am Paul Mather a new Lego Artist that initially built a BIG Lego Model so that I could purchase a new car. I then built a 5ft 10" Lego Titanic...... ,the initial plan was to sell the Titanic to either a Legoland or a Titanic Collector. Since posting the picture on Twitter I got huge responses from Legolands worldwide that fully respected the model and complimented on its detail. White Star Line wanted this to take on their next voyage and I have also been in local press and on radio.

What happened next.....

I then get a surprise PPI Claim through and low an behold it was enough to buy a car so I decided not to sell the Titanic and use this model to help others. I then carefully chosen 3 Charities which were Ruebens Retreat, The Stroke Association and Teenage Cancer Trust. So I attended 3 events throughout the year and helped raise funds for each charity. Then I decided I will arrange my own but for all 3 which was a huge success and full of entertainment, craft stalls, lego displays, lego play areas, bouncy castle, dj and live music. I have photo's from each event with the Titanic and also have You-Tube Video's of the models for the events on my You-Tube Channel.

So now I have chosen my charities but didnt know how to gain support as I knew I would be doing these events and wanted some help somehow. I then joined Twitter and entered into #oldhamhour Within this group I ended up getting huge support on my vision and building lego models to attend events to help raise more funds for the charities. I ended up obtaining sponsors which although have never financially supported me but they helped with a free website, discounted costs on leaflets, stickers, posters and banners, a free photoshoot and images and free advertising on a local mums website. I was overwhelmed by the responses of not only the people at these events I was attending as the only display but the business support to help me fulfil what I wanted to do.

I have now after completing this years Charity Events come to a decision stage of selling the Titanic however deep down in my heart I really don't want to. This has helped so many people and it was a joy building this. This request isn't just about giving money this is about helping me, help others....

I am looking for either Cash donations or Lego donations, the main reason for this is that I don't have sufficient Lego to complete next years model. I have though chosen next years charities which are Alzheimers Society, Clic Sargent and Klippel Feil Syndrome

For me to carry on building for Charity I need the support from the people for what I do. Could you help either by a lego or cash donation... if so Please Help my Cause
