Hello, my name is Małgorzata Judkiewicz and I’m from Warsaw, Poland. I am making this video to ask for your support so that I can fulfil my dream of becoming an international arbitration lawyer.

Hello and welcome to my first crowdfunding experience!

I'm raising money for an LL.M. (advanced Law studies) in Geneva, to which I have already been admitted. The amount I need sometimes gives me a headache, but I believe that the harder you try, the more you will achieve. Easy come, easy go, and that's not what makes life entertaining.

It's not easy to collect money to study in a country where the costs of living are several times higher than in your own. I have tried different options - foundations, associations, banks - but until now I have only received help from people, not institutions. This is why I'm turning to you!

Please watch the video, support me and spread the project! Thank you!

Below is the text from the video:

Hello, my name is Małgorzata Judkiewicz and I’m from Warsaw, Poland. I am making this video to ask for your support so that I can fulfil my dream of becoming an international arbitration lawyer.

I recently graduated from law school and I was admitted to a very prestigious advanced Master in International Dispute Settlement in Geneva, Switzerland. The only obstacle standing in my way is the money. In total I need to have around 40 000 CHF to be able to participate in the programme, and I have managed to borrow from the closest family and friends one forth of it. Since I need different sources of financing, I am turning to you for help.

How did I choose International Arbitration? I can tell you that it wasn't just some arbitrary decision! During my law school, I was naturally drawn to International Arbitration for the wealth of diversity it could offer me. I always crave new and fresh perspectives... International arbitration offers diversity on many different levels: you deal with international clients from different countries from all over the world and from different legal backgrounds. You have to be flexible and think out of the box. As a private method of settling disputes arbitration is very efficient and popular, with Paris, London, Singapore and Switzerland being attractive seats of arbitration. Last year I travelled to Frankfurt and Vienna where I participated in international moot competitions related to arbitration. I also wrote my master’s thesis on that subject (about fast-track procedure in commercial arbitration).

Now the next step on my journey is to study the mentioned Programme, Master in International Dispute Settlement, dedicated mostly to arbitration, organized by the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies and the University of Geneva. This programme will allow me to gain knowledge and develop my skills in arbitration under the supervision of the best professors and practitioners of arbitration in the world. And it will help me to pursue my dream career!

Your contributions will mean the world to me! To support me, just click on the “Contribute” button and select the amount you wish to fund me with. Even contributing as little as 5 dollars will bring me that much closer to my dream career.

If you wish to contact me, you can find my name on Facebook or LinkedIn. You know what they say... It's always good to know a lawyer!

Thank you for watching this video and supporting me!
