Ollie's had a few too many visits to the hospital of late to treat his asthma - it has become quite problematic and he will be having a Bronchoscopy soon to investigate what's going on.  He's missed out on so much over the past six months not forgetting Christmas Day. Ollie usually copes so well when in hospital and gets on with all the treatment but his last admission this week (following 4 other admissions over the past 6 weeks) wasn't the same he was pretty fed up and didn't cope as well as usual. His first symptoms started at 11 months of age, we've lost count of the number of hospital admissions he's been through we know its somewhere above thirty so its fair to say he's not had the easiest of times - the smile you see on the pic is typical Ollie.  So, to get that big bright smile back on his face we've decided to organise a 'supermarket style' sweep at Toys R Us to get some brand new toys for the playroom at his local hospital. He is v excited about this and today Ollie has been ringing family and friends and raised a whopping £280 - Ollie has already put down which toys he is going to pick. This will not only help Ollie feel a little more positive again with hospital but will also refresh a few of the board games etc that are looking a little tired ( well used /lost pieces etc) and bring a smile to lots of children that use the playroom every day. If you can spare a few quid we would all be very grateful especially Ollie - he's loving the whole idea understandably xxx
