25 live in this single family home

Maisha rescues children orphaned by AIDS, conflict, and extreme poverty and gives them a loving home, food, and education at a safe, peaceful semi-rural farm outside Nairobi.

20 children and 5 caregivers live together as a family in the tiny Maisha home. 2-3 kids and adults share each single bed. A metal-walled dining area has been added for extra space. 4 people have moved into a metal shed outside, also home to a smoke-filled cooking room.

Maisha desperately needs a safe new home with enough space to separate the little ones from the young adults and solid enough to house future generations of Maisha children.

You can help! Donate now and give dignity to these 20 youth and opportunity to the next generation of Kenya's future community leaders.
