25 live in this single family home

Maisha rescues children orphaned by AIDS, conflict, and extreme poverty and gives them a loving home, food, and education at a safe, peaceful semi-rural farm outside Nairobi. 


20 children and 5 caregivers live together as a family in the tiny Maisha home. 2-3 kids and adults share each single bed. A metal-walled dining area has been added for extra space. 4 people have moved into a metal shed outside, also home to a smoke-filled cooking room.

Maisha desperately needs a safe new home with enough space to separate the little ones from the young adults and solid enough to house future generations of Maisha children.
