have been working on a 300 domestic rabbit rescue at an industrial complex in Ontario, CA for over 1 year. The way the rabbit breeding situation got out of control was that for over 30 years, people have been dumping their unwanted rabbits there. We have only recently found out about it. These rabbits have been breeding for over 3 decades in unsanitary conditions. All of the 50 rabbits we caught have the Coccidia parasite. The rabbits are being picked up by hawks, run over by cars, and all have ticks. This article mentions the 300 rabbits, some of which have migrated to the adjacent business, Fox Rental Car. The article is about the former employee, Shea Johnson, of Fox Rental Car that was charged with rabbit cruelty for killing 20 of them:

Odelkis Barrera took in more than 50 rabbits into her garage and we have been trying to adopt them out for over a year. Our best route of adoption is through Petco, 3820 Grand Ave, Chino, CA. If you like to adopt, please email OdelkisL@aol.com. We need donations for the medical care and food for these rabbits. Please help us if you can by donating
