Dollars for Dirty Artists an ireverantly titled good cause created as a peer-to-peer artist grant celebration! This year's recipient was Danny Davis - and we still need to raise a few more Dollaz to cover the expense of the van that was purchased for him. (Check out the pimpin van in the photo - tricked out with custom vinyl for PROTECT AWESOME!) Give what you can - every dollar counts! And spread the word ... xoxoxo. Here is what happened the night of the celebration: Presented by The Goat Farm Arts Center, curated by George Long and coordinated by Bang! Arts, the evening features performances by: Dance Truck Muleskinner McQueen Brock and Nirvana (of Little Tybee) The Hot Toddies Chelsea Darling Charlie Smith Jimmie Clell Iron Jayne (Emily Kempf of The BackPockets) and more! The Good Food Truck will be on site to serve victuals and proceeds from the sales will also go to help grow the fund! Tickets begin at $5 (you can pay what you like beyond that) Wednesday, September 26th at The Warhorse Cafe of The Goat Farm Arts Center. 8pm doors, performances begin at 8:30pm.
