Erica Lenore hasn't added a story.
Our dear brother, Wiley Charles Tuten, was diagnosed with colorectal
cancer in early 2013. Colorectal cancer is the third most common
cancer in the US although Wiley was very young to receive this diagnosis.
Since then, he underwent multiple surgeries and months of treatments
and fought with courage until God decided it was his time
over Thanksgiving break. We feel the timing was very symbolic of the
many gifts Wiley bestowed upon us and we are forever grateful for so
many beautiful memories with Wiley.
Those who knew Wiley would describe him as pure of heart, kind,
gentle, lover of animals, humanitarian and a strong Christian. Wiley
also endured some challanges growing up, but with the love and support
of his family along with his strong faith he was able to perservere.
Although Wiley is no longer "physically" with us, we feel
comfort knowing he is in a better place, no longer in pain and his
soul is now free. He will ALWAYS be with us in spirit and lives on
with little Jacky.
There will be a private memorial service in San Diego, CA on December
13th followed by a Celebration of Life. In lieu of flowers/gifts,
we have setup a memorial fund for those who want to make a
contribution to the family to help with his outsanding medical costs
(a portion and anything outstanding will go toward cancer research in
his name).
Thank you to all of our loyal family and friends who have been there
over the last two years. We are blessed to have such a strong support system.
Blessings, Peace & Love,
Erica and Andretta
