Our local Stroke Association Support Group have been a fantastic help to my husband after he suffered five strokes.  The group consist of a dozen or so survivors and they are a lively bunch, with a heartwarming enthusiasm and optimism for regaining control of their lives and helping others.  Truly they are an inspiration to anyone who is in the unenviable position of trying to piece their lives back together after the trauma of a stroke.

Now we'd like to do something for them all in return.  Most of the people are coping on benefits and while they never complain, it is clear there's not much money to go around.   We'd love to raise about £300 to pay for a Christmas Lunch in a local eatery on 10th December.   This would be a lovely way to bring them together for a festive meal before the group break up for the year.  I  know it will mean so much to them.    Can you help?

Donations of any amount are welcome, but if you donate £10 we will send you a handmade christmas card that you can give to the person of your choice.   The photo is an example, there wil be a variety of cards made.
