Our poor girl Lilah has been through soooo much! She’s had several surgeries ranging from cherry eye to spay to removal of fox tails. She’s been hospitalized several times for digestive issues and diagnostic testing. We thought we were through the worst, however, we were wrong. Last week while Lilah was on her trial adoption, she started to bleed out. We rushed her to the vet and it was determined that she had a blood clot from her spay surgery. She was immediately put on antibiotics at the ER vet and then we had her transported to the vet that actually did her spay surgery. After several days of IV antibiotics, she had yet another surgery to remove the blood clot and to ‘flush” her out. Well after almost 2 weeks at the vet hospital, she has finally been discharged and seems to be doing well. Of course, treatment came at a cost and with all the medical dogs we take on, we once again are requesting help from our wonderful supporters. We’ve attached 2 of her recent invoices for the ER hospital as well as the surgical hospital. The good news is that our vet did not charge us for the surgery, but we did get charged for her IV antibiotics and other prescribed treatment. Please help us to continue to do the work we do by contributing to Lilah’s care. We are a 501c3 so all donations are 100% tax deductible. Prayers that we have finally gotten her on her way to a healthy life. You can donate directly through this fundrazr or via PayPal to: gonetothedogs2011@live.com. We thank you and Lilah thanks you!!
