My daughter, Laura, was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis back in Jan 2014 after she suffered symptoms for almost a year.

Ulcerative colitis is an inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) that causes long-lasting inflammation in part of your digestive tract.

Like Crohn's disease, another common IBD, ulcerative colitis can be debilitating and sometimes can lead to life-threatening complications. Because ulcerative colitis is a chronic condition, symptoms usually develop over time, rather than suddenly.

There's no known cure for ulcerative colitis.

She was also diagnosed with gallstones back in Nov. 2013 in which she had to have emergency surgery this past June to have her gallbladder removed.

Laura has been in and out of the hospital for the past 9 months. She was recently admitted for 4 days, discharged, then 1 day later admitted again due to blood loss causing low potassium and low blood pressure. She was also severely anemic and had to get a blood transfusion.

My daughter lives with her son in California and the only income they have is what she makes at her job. Due to her medical problems and being in the hospital she is not working and does not have paid time off so she has no income. I am trying to help her as much as I can but it's not enough. Her medical bills are piling up as well are her bills at home. Please, if you can find it in your heart, help my daughter. I, as well as Laura and her son, would greatly appreciate it.

God Bless You All!!!!
