On February 24, 2014 I lost my husband, Mike, to the ravages of liver disease after a courageous 10-year battle. Unfortunately, he did so before he could receive a life-saving transplant.

Hi, I am a 60-yr old widow who's husband, Mike, passed away on 2/24/14,leaving me with an enormous amount of debt due to his 10-year courageous battle with liver disease. As a result, I am left with no savings and insufficient income to even pay my daily expenses at this time, but hope to be working from home within 2 months with a contractor from Social Security, as I am disabled. I am sure that with the assistance of my two sons, all of those things will somehow work out. But, the most important thing of all: I NEED to repay his sister for her selfless act by lending me the money so that I could cremate my husband. I also have to repay Social Security back the amount they paid to my husband as he died in February and they are taking back February benefits, so that money is currently coming out of my monthly benefits. Additionally, I would like to have a small celebration/memorial for my husband, as everyone who met him loved him and he would give you the shirt off his back...he was a truly extraordinary person. That is the very least I can do for such a wonderful man who fought such a long and horrible battle & never once complained. Then I will somehow address the medical bills, which probably number $30,000 at a minimum. If you have anything you can do to help me do getting the money back to his sister and helping with a celebration of Mike's life, I would be so enormously grateful. Thank you for taking the time to read this. God Bless You.
