The City of Pine Lake, GA has always been very supportive of the EcoArts Camp. And it has long been one of the core desires of the Camp to contribute in a variety of ways to the city’s quality of life. As you may know, the City of Pine Lake, in an effort to remain fiscally strong, now charges usage fees. The organizers of the camp certainly understand but this year they’d like to ask for your much needed help to meet the new expenses.

Many of us strongly believe in the benefits that the EcoArts Camp brings to our fine city. But for an organization that runs economically tight, coming up with these funds will be tough this first year. The Camp organizers already serve and sacrifice, giving their time and talent at below market rates because they truly believe in the work they do.

You may not know that there are also numerous scholarships awarded for children who might otherwise not be able to attend. Up to this point, the camp has absorbed these costs. Many volunteer their time because of their strong belief in the value of this unique camp. For some, camp is a life changing experience.

Please join us and contribute what you can. And don’t think for a moment that a small donation will not help, because it will. If we work together we can provide the seed money for these new fees and scholarships which will have a positive effect for years to come.

This year’s usage fees: $1,800

This year’s insurance: $775

Scholarships for qualified recipients: $3,500

Total Crowd-funding Campaign: $6,075

Thanks in advance for your support of the EcoArts Camp, the value it provides and the contribution it makes to City of Pine Lake!
