We're doing a skydive!!!  Please please sponsor myself and My husband, Andrew so we can help this fantastic charity.  :-)

The Sri Lanka children's appeal are a charity whose main objectives are to provide relief from poverty for children with learning disabilities in the village of hopes and dreams, Hikkaduwa, Sri Lanka.

The charity provides specialist accomodation and long term care for one young man in particular.  Nilantha grew up in Ruhunu children's orphanage in Galle, Sri Lanka.  The conditions of the orphanage were terrible, Nilantha lay in a cot too small for him with no stimulus all day without much of a future to look forward to, until the charity became involved.  The founders Mo and Dhyan Perera would visit the orphanage regularly and became very close to Nilantha.  They adopted Nilantha, built him a house and provide him with around the clock care.  Nilantha is doing fantastic now, he's a bright and happy young man and you can see from the picture below that the wonderful care the charity provide him with has changed his life entirely.  However many more children need support from the charity.

So PLEASE PLEASE sponsor us to do our skydive, to provide vital funds for the charity in order for them to carry on supporting the children, families, schools and Nilantha in Sri Lanka, to give them hope and ensure their dreams of health and happiness come true.  Thank you.
