On January 5th of 2014, I went into a hospital for gallbladder pains.

I was admitted. The next day my pace maker was checked by the manufacturer and adjusted. That afternoon, I took a nap and my heart flatlined. My pace maker must have kicked in, I woke to a flood of doctors and nurses running into the room with a crash cart. My heart was racing was all I knew.

Two days later I went under anesthesia for the removal of my gallbladder. Again there were complications with my heart while I was under. My lungs tissue were saturated with fluid. I was placed on a machine that pumped oxygen into my lungs.

I awoke in the ICU with tubes running into my mouth and down into my throat. The pain from this system for the next two days were a living hell for me.

I have created Gentle Hearts Charity a non profit to help others in recovery of heart attacks get back on their feet. We also contribute to the American Heart Disease Foundation.
