My name is Keyanni Webber.  I was born July 9, 2013 in The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and was transferred immediately to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.  This is my story.

While in utero, I was diagnosed with Downs Syndrome, Duodenal Atresia and Tretalogy of Fallet with VSD (a hole in my heart).  So that I could be closer to my doctors and hospital, my family has been staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Camden, New Jersey since May.

While being born, the humorous in my left arm fractured.  Then I was diagnosed with Cataracts.  When I was one and a half months old, the one in my right eye was removed and I wear a special contact lense in it now.

Two days after my birthday, the doctors were able to fix the Duodenal Atresia and after many setbacks including high fevers the doctors were able to repair the hole in my heart on September 27.  FINALLY!

I am currently on a high-flow nasal cannula of four liters.  I have blood in my stool and once again fevers.  I will need to have an abdominal hernia repaired and a possible Nissen Wrap and G Tube.  I have even undergone a Spinal Tap.

My family would like to transfer me to Hershey Medical Center to be closer to home instead of three and a half hours away.  However, due to distance and money they won't be able to see me everyday.

My journey is just beginning but I am not the only one affected by it.  My nine year old brother is home schooled and was having difficulty adjusting to his new environment.  My parents are struggling to be able to get everything they need here and keep paying the bills at our house.  My grandmother is disabled and is living at home by herself with no one there to take care of her.  If there is anything you can do to help us, it would greatly be appreciated.

Thank you so very much.
