Ally Rayner was born on 9/19/2012 with 13 birth defects. One of her major defects was one of her kidneys didn't develop and the other one shut down at 24 weeks pregnant. Ally had • cerebral uentriculomegaly • anemia in chronic kidney disease • seizures • chronic kidney disease stage 4 • cloacal malformation • congenital imperforate anus • ambiguous genital • renal dysphasia • tethered spinal cord • nutritional deficiency •brain disorder. She was in pediatric ICU having hemo dialysis preformed, something most hospitals do not do on babies this small. Ally spent the first 6 month of her life in NICU then she went home on peritoneal dialysis. She was home for 3 months then the family found out she had some problems with her intestines so she was admitted on July 3rd. For most of her life she was on vent life support. Last week the parents were told by the Doctors there was nothing else that could be done to save Ally and that anything else they could possibly do would only make her suffer more. The parents now had the most difficult decision to make in their life, to take their baby of life support and let her die or continue letting her days be lived in a hospital. They decided to have her on support one last day and then the next day all tubes were removed from Ally. At 12:45 August 22,2013 the family got a private room with Ally so that the family got to hold her for the last time. Once the last person was through holding her they laid her on a bed and dressed her for the last time and took a few pictures, the tubes were removed from Ally's body and her Mom and Dad got to hold their baby by themselves with no one in the room. Once they had their time they allowed the rest of the family back in the room and the parents held their baby for almost 4 hours, she took 3 deep breaths and it was her last at 5:43pm. The Mother held her 30 mins after she was gone and then her Daddy took her out of Moms arms and laid her on the crib bed. Little Ally did not have life insurance, because no insurance company would insure her. The mother lost her job, due to having to be bed side at the hospital. They have so many medical bills that are still outstanding and it is difficult to pay every day household expenses and bills.

Ally Rayner, she just passed away last Thursday, August 22,2013. She was 11 months old. In her short life here she had 23 surgeries and spent most of her life in the hospital. The family is struggling with the medical bills and regular every day bills as well as dealing with the grief of losing Ally. They also have a little boy that that is about to turn 4, that is having a difficult time understanding why his baby sister isn't here. The family is now selling contents of their home to help pay for expenses that most of us can always pay. I am trying to raise money for this family to help them out in the terrible financial situation they are in. Since Ally was born both parents spent most of their days at the hospital, they are struggling. The pictures are of Ally’s parents holding after she had passed away.
