Baby Girl was attacked by another dog and sustained extensive injuries to her head and neck, numerous deep puncture and lacerations, torn muscle and tissue, and damage to arteries in her neck. She has been through so much and is still being cared for at Animal Neurology & Emergency Center.

Baby Girl's initial emergency/stabilizing care cost $2,755. Her continuing care by the wonderful emergency staff has required extensive wound care and bandage changes every 12-24 hours, she still has really large deep open wounds in the back of her neck, she has developed infections in this area, so keeping these wounds clean & dry is critical. Her current cost of care runs between $60 - $165 per day.

We spoke to Dr. Herman yesterday and she said Babygirl is ready to go to a medical foster home soon, BUT she will still require to have her bandages changed by a vet every 24 hours because of the heat and humidity they havent been able to go longer than that.
