Please Help One of Our Own…The Keizor Family
Verdigris Cardinal Baseball Sophomore, Riley Keizor went with the team to Arizona to play baseball during Spring Break. Riley’s parents, Jerry & Jo, flew out to watch their son play. Monday morning Jerry wasn’t feeling well and stayed in the car most of the game. By Monday evenings game Jerry was feeling worse and stayed at the hotel. Jo went to watch their son play. During the game, Jerry called and told his wife that she needed to come get him and take him to the ER. Needless to say, Riley had just taken a baseball to the face. Hurting and with a bloody nose, Riley stayed to finish the game. Jo take her husband to the ER. After the game, Riley was taken to the ER, his nose was definitely broken. Jerry was admitted to the hospital with pancreatitis. Tuesday morning Jerry was admitted to the ICU, continuing to get worse on Wednesday. Riley is coming home today with his team. Jo is in AZ with her husband, with no family/friends for support. Jerry is in critical condition today with his kidneys starting to deteriorate and needs to be Medevaced to Tulsa to be with his family. Insurance will not pay for this. The cost to bring him home is $16,300. Jerry was Medevaced home Thursday, March 21, 2013. We are asking for your help, to help pay this large bill, to bring Jerry home to his family…Please help one of our Baseball Family Members.
