Boo Boo is a Chihuahua in desperate need of surgery to have part of his front leg amputated. Ann (his owner now) just got him and he came to her in this condition. Apparently, the previous owners never took him to see a vet after he had broken his leg and, as you can see in the photos, it healed incorrectly due to lack of medical attention. Ann convinced his previous owners to surrender him to her. She took him to her vet and after appraisal, the vet told her he had to amputate from the joint down. There has been too much damage to try to reset. The cost is $300 and Ann and her husband are financially stressed and are asking for help. The vet that is going to do the surgery is: Fox Nest Veterinary Hospital 10445 Clemson Boulevard Seneca, SC 29678 (864) 882-4488. Office Manager: Bonnie. I have spoken with them directly myself to make sure this information is accurate. They'd like to do this more sooner than later. He doesn't appear to be in serious pain, but he is showing signs of discomfort and cannot walk on that leg for a long length of time. He hops around on 3 legs and is developing sores on his pads. No donation is too small. I'm sure we can all pitch in a couple of dollars for Boo Boo and reach $300 in no time. Thanks everyone!! :-)
