ALAMAK! hasn't added a story.
The Societe Generale Kids Rugby Spirit Festival is a charity programme organized in partnership with ChildFund (Australia), World Rugby’s charity partner for Rugby World Cup 2019 (RWC 2019).
It allows underprivileged kids from Societe Generale’s supported charities, across Asia Pacific to experience the “once in a lifetime” RWC 2019 in Japan.
Throughout the 3-day Festival, happening in Japan from 24 to 26 October, 8 beneficiaries from supported charities consisting a mixture of girls and boys aged 11-14, will come together for a cultural exchange program, benefit from educational workshops, take part in a tag rugby tournament, and attend together the 1st semi-final of RWC 2019 on Saturday 26 October 2019.
Make this happen with us! Your donation will go a long way!
Our goal: raise as much funds as possible for the kids supported by Children's Wishing Well and ChildFund for South East Asia to enjoy rugby and the RWC 2019 experience. Our minimum target: €6,000 before Friday 26 July 2019 but it is just a starter … sky is the limit!
We are ALAMAK! a fully diverse team made of all genders, sizes and nationalities. ALAMAK! is a commonly used Malay word in Singapore to express surprise. As our name suggests, we want to awe on the pitch with our fast, furious and uniquely Singaporean tactics!
Once we hit our fundraising target together, be sure our team will fly the flag during the Societe Generale Staff Touch Rugby Charity Tournament during the weekend of 24/25 August 2019.
ALAMAK pack gathers three beautiful, fast and agile women. Like Charlie’s angels they are determined to score. Their motto: no woman no try!
· Caroline “Furious Caribou” Vives runs like an eighteen-wheeler in the snowy Canadian steppes
· Mukta “Cosmic Kali” Arya, our Indian goddess, twists space like no other.
· Severine “Kitty Valkyrie” Vailly crushes lines since her childhood playing with Panthers in the Ivory Coast savannahs
ALAMAK backs are like a proton charge, passing and running like mad. For sure, they will ruck you!
· Brice “Pazzo Asparago” Carayol throws balls as high as the Tower of Pisa
· Edward “Sudden” Lee, dodges pitfalls daily in the deadliest Singapore jungles
· Nicholas “Steve O” Stum, 6-million-dollar man who masters third half-times and countless Irish tricks
· Stanley “Garang” Chwee, brings chicken-rice backflips into another dimension
· Vincent “Gremlin Vault” Dumas keeps the ball as safe as a Swiss bank
Act now! a small donation from you, a fantastic life time experience for the kids!
ALAMAK! … winning isn’t everything. It’s the only thing
